Ista Professional Handling

Ista was founded in 1983 by Gregory and Tammarie Larson, and has produced multiple All Breed Best In Show winners and Best In Sweepstakes at the American Shih Tzu Club National, as well as champions and Best In Show winners in many foreign countries. The Ista philosophy has always been to breed only the best; striving to produce gorgeous dogs with sound minds and bodies. We breed on a limited basis because of our schedules and the amount of time puppies require to have the correct start in life. Our puppies are guaranteed for two years for congenital and inherited defects, and all breeding stock is screened for genetic faults. All companion puppies not intended for showing are to be spayed or neutered and are sold on limited registrations. Show puppies are sold on show contracts. Our puppies are born and raised in our home with our kids and other pets, so they are extremely well-socialized. Companion puppies are ready to leave for their new homes at twelve weeks of age. Please contact us for information on our shipping policy.  All puppies leave with a copy of the excellent guide, How to Raise A Puppy You Can Live With and their up-to-date vaccination record, as well as a negative parasite exam. In addition, puppies are sent home with a lead, comb or brush, a toy, and a complete puppy pack from Purina. If at any time a client must give up an Ista puppy, we require that the puppy come back to us so that we can keep track of all puppies we breed and make sure they are in suitable homes.
