The main stud dog at Ista was Best In Show, Best in Specialty Show Ch. Ista's Wicked Fantasy, R.O.M. Bad was the consummate show dog, winning Best of Breed at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club show in 1995. He won an Award of Merit at two National Specialties as well as winning the Stud Dog class at the National. Bad won five Best in Specialty Shows and nearly thirty Group I's as well as an All-Breed Best In Show. He also excelled in his career as a stud dog, producing two All-Breed Best In Show winners, Best In Specialty Show winners and Specialty point winners as well as a National Best In Sweepstakes winner and multiple Group winners and forty-nine champions. Bad was a third generation R.O.M. (Registry of Merit). An R.O.M. requires a minimum of six champions produced by a male. He will be greatly missed and is forever in our hearts.

Fame is an elegant, stylish, sound dog with fantastic reach and drive. He is a proven sire, CERF certified, vWD and thyroid normal. He is owned by Heidi and Dean Selvig. Sired by Tear'N and out of Salsa, Nick was best of winners at the Metropolitan Shih Tzu Fanciers in February, 2008. He finished at under a year of age. Watch for Nick's first offspring in the ring soon! Nick is extremely dominant for producing black.

Multiple Group winning GCh. Ista’s Hurricain Chaser, better known as Chase, finished as a puppy with a RWD and Best Bred By at the 2010 ASTC National, as well as the TCASTC Specialty. This handsome young man, in making his debut in 2011 in the Specials ring, won the breed at the North Star Toy Club Specialty and on to a Group 3 at the Land O’Lakes KC the following day. Bruno is an extremely flashy black and white boy who will soon hit the ring. Bred by Greg Larson & Julie Berg, Bruno is out of Ch. Palaquins Grand Slam and Ch. Ista's Dare To Flash. He is owned by Greg and Tammarie. UPDATE: After very limited showing, Bruno has attained his championship! Bruno won a five point major at the Shih Tzu Club Of Southeastern Wisconsin's specialty, including Best of Winners and Best Bred-By.
